Active Schools

In 2023, amid much hard work and dedication, we achieved our Active Schools Flag. The aim of the Active Schools Flag is to encourage schools to be ‘More Active, More Often’. Being an active school will help us to put an emphasis on physical exercise and to learn about the importance of healthy living.

The P.E. Curriculum allows us to develop our gross motor skills through the 6 PE strands:

• Athletics
• Dance
• Gymnastics
• Games
• Outdoor and Adventure
• Aquatics

In our school the children attend tennis, gymnastics and soccer coaches during the school year.

We were awarded its first Green Flag under the ‘Litter and Waste’ category in 2016.

Since then we have been delighted to be awarded the third flag ‘Water’ and the fourth flag ‘Travel’
